1- GENERAL OBJECTIVE

To provide participants with knowledge and skills in the theory and practice of safe load handling, lifting capabilities and safe workplace practices.

• Inspect the data on the loads;
• Select the type of transport and storage;
• Organize and store products according to their expiration dates;
• Perform preventive maintenance on the equipment in operation;
• Test the operation of the equipment;
• Check support structures;
• Identify malfunctions and breakdowns;
• Knots and turns;
• Identify dangerous cargo;
• Inspect steel cables;
• Inspect cargo accessories.

This professional may work in the following industry: oil and gas, food, beverages, wood, civil construction, basic metallurgy, mineral extraction, companies that manufacture chemical products, among others.

4- TARGET AUDIENCE

The course is aimed at workers directly or indirectly involved in moving cargo.

5- PREREQUISITES

Elementary education. Candidates for training must be in minimum physical health conditions, as certified by a medical examination or equivalent, to be considered fit to perform the exercises and simulations provided for in the course.
