GENERAL OBJECTIVE

The proposed training aims to retrain professionals in the area to identify, monitor and control existing risks through procedures and protection measures in confined spaces in order to prevent accidents in accordance with NR 33, which establishes the minimum requirements for protecting workers and the workplace against the risks of entering confined spaces.

ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

At the end of the course, the student will be prepared to:

• Understand risks and perform risk analysis;
• Have notions of classified area;
• Implement the confined space entry program;
• Understand the gas detectors;

• Understand respiratory protection;
• Understand the causes and effects of accidents occurring in confined spaces.

FIELD OF ACTION

Offshore, onshore, industrial areas in general and any activity that is carried out in closed places that are classified as confined spaces (e.g. silos, tanks, wells, vessels, towers, water tanks, cisterns, etc.).

TARGET AUDIENCE

Professionals who have completed initial confined space training (NR 33) who require mandatory annual recycling.

PREREQUISITES

Have a valid initial training certificate as per NR-33.
